What started out as a vintage office has turned into a serviced loft type cabin accommodation.
“Customers can experience an isolated from the city life,” Ginno Cruz, the resort’s general manager, tells Manila Bulletin Lifestyle Home. His dad, Rodrigo “Ellis” Cruz is the owner and brainchild behind the concept and design of The Cabin Resorts.
Only two to three hours away from Manila in an isolated farmland in San Miguel, Bulacan, this newly-opened resort boasts of fully-furnished cabins with woodsy interiors and a balcony facing the lake.
Guests can also enjoy access to an infinity pool and a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant, as well as activities like kayaking, biking, ATV rides, archery, and fishing.
Soon, bonfire with s’mores, romantic dinner setup, and outdoor movie night will be introduced.
The best part? This resort operates with sustainability in mind. It runs on 40% solar power. Toothbrushes provided are also biodegradable.
Guests are also encouraged to bring reusable containers for toiletries, though shampoo bars and sustainable toothpastes are also available.
“We are advocates of sustainability,” the younger Cruz says. “It is our goal to help earth as much as we can.”
